Pro tip: Instead of doing the monotonous weaving process described in the video, tape one end of the cord to a chopstick (or pencil or anything thin and longish). I used a pen, which was the only thing I had. Although it worked, the “pocket clip” annoyingly kept snagging on the netting. Lay the netting on the floor with it spread out to make the “2 inch squares” and then thread the line through the alternate squares with the chopstick. Quick and easy peasy. Doing it this way only takes a couple minutes!

Excellent stuff, have just used this pattern to make a great weekend bag for our motorhome. A few adjustments needed as was made with quilted cotton and lined, plus another inside zippered pocket but basically its the same bag. I'm well chuffed. 😁👍

I’m hoping HH-66 and some Shelter-Rite patches will do the trick until I finally decide to get the entire top replaced. Hope you can advise. Thanks!

loving the instructional videos. I have a travel trailer that has foam cushions that are too soft. Also the cushions do not match the lids for the storage below. I want to make firmer cushions that match the underlining storage lids. I have ordered foam samples and need to have my wife pick out fabric. Thank you.

By the way some 10W40 will help the fabric slide out better and I found it was easier to slide the fabric out leaving the plastic rod in.

You didn't need to take the rocker mechanism apart because the rails the the fabric slides into come off the chair except for the bottom rail on the chair back.

Any suggestions for adding state registration ID and decals to the chaps?

There's a horrendous high-pitched whine in this video during all VO. It hurts my ears. This can be solved in future productions by running a band pass filter, or at least a low pass filter around 15khz, without detracting from the audio. People with damaged hearing will never notice it, but people with good hearing (and any nearby dogs) will thank you for it.

I was wondering if this could be used for cars or SUVs for car camping? Obviously you could add some allowances to extend to the metal frame of the car or by adding straps via a gusset. Or would a material like protect-it be more suitable ? With the temperatures rising I have considered finding solutions for all the windows ofy vehicle.

Amazing - wish I knew how to sew and had a beginner sewing machine - it looks like magic to me!

The set screw on the jaw slide and the tube ends (in my opinion) are dangerous. I have a smaller blue water capable sailboat that the dodger frame has the outside grab handles. When sailing in rowdy conditions you may grab the dodger frame, a 1 inch stainless frame, with gusto. And I have had the end cap pull loose. My cure for this dangerous condition is once the set screws have bit into the tube and marked the tube, I remove the set screws and drill and tap the hole for a 10/32 stainless screw that is threaded through the jaw slide or end cap and threaded into the tube. Bet that sucker wouldn’t pull off! Thanks for all the videos, my LSZ1 has be such a integral part of the billion upgrades or just changes I have done to my boat.
